It didn't help that I felt like the atmosphere was unfriendly but then I've always felt like that with Mx or Enduro, people are by nature very clicky and like my wife pointed out I was there to ride not make friends. Last year I got the courage up and went to a Enduro event and whilst I loved the riding and the physical exercise it gave me everytime I stopped for fuel or a drink I just was consumed with anxiety. I find myself getting very anxious at the thought of other people, and I can't really define whether I'm anxious about them laughing at me or judging me or what it is but it's just this general anxiety.
I've been trying to get back into riding at tracks and events after a 4 year gap where I've just been solo trail riding, and I'm struggling to go. Sold individually.Does anybody here suffer from social anxiety? Not allowing time to break in the boots can lead to chafing.
Gradually increase duration and distance to allow your horse to become accustomed. Conservative riding is best for the first time your horse is fitted with these.
